TROY MEEDER FROM CRYSTAL PEAKS VISITS SOHYR

Troy Meeder and Marshall Teague of Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch visited Alabama to speak at an event held at The Red Barn benefiting Spirit of Hope Youth Ranch.  The creation of SOHYR was inspired by the model of Crystal Peaks and we are so grateful to Troy and Kim Meeder for their continued support and guidance.  Before Saturday afternoon’s event, Troy and Marshall met with the staff of other similar agencies (Horizon Youth Ranch, MGH Arena, and The Mustard Seed) from across Alabama that work with horses and children so that we could all learn from his wisdom and better serve the children God has placed in our ministries.  After a true southern meal of ribs from Shane’s Rib Shack,   our families, friends, and volunteers arrived and we spent the afternoon listening to the wonderful gospel music of Fungo Holler and Grace before hearing Troy speak from his newly released book Average Joe.  Watch the video of our perfect afternoon!
