From Birmingham, take 280 east and travel approximately 16 miles past the Summit shopping center. You will pass a WalMart on your right in Chelsea. You will also pass a clock tower on your right. Turn right onto Hwy 55, There will be a sign for the King’s Ranch at this turn. There is also a small gas station and a large white house that is rented for weddings. After traveling about 4 ½ miles on Hwy 55, you will see a graveyard on the left with a concrete block picnic pavilion. Just past this….Turn right onto Hwy 109 North*. After traveling almost a mile, you will turn left into the King’s Ranch property. There is a big red sign at the entrance. After entering the King’s Ranch, follow the signs to Spirit of Hope.
* Note that 109 North is not directly across from 109 South. If you see a left turn onto 109 South, you have gone too far. DO NOT rely on Mapquest or GPS devices to find us. The directions are wrong.
