Spirit of Hope Youth Ranch

Volunteers are an integral part of our program. And whether you’re working with children or helping with a construction project like building a fence or a barn, we’re confident you will have a rewarding experience volunteering at Spirit of Hope and will leave smiling – knowing the investment of your time made a difference.

Level I Volunteers attend work days at the ranch to provide maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. Level I volunteers are interviewed by staff and must provide references.

Level II Volunteers work directly with the children and horses. They must complete a volunteer training session and provide information for a background check.

All volunteers must complete the SOHYR Volunteer Form before volunteering at SOHYR.

Volunteer orientation sessions are held Tuesdays at 2:00, Thursdays at 11:30 and by appointment.  To volunteer, please contact us at info@sohyr.org. Please do not come without calling first because schedules can change at the last minute. All volunteers must have completed their background checks and appropriate paperwork before working with children.
